Great idea but I fear I may need to go back more than 20 years. No, on second thoughts, a week living how I lived in the nineties would undoubtedly kill me; 2005 here we come.
Of the 16 men in that study, I'd be interested to know how many of them were POC. Pretty sure the results of that study would've been different for them. I, myself, wouldn't want to go back 20 years. It would've been 2005. Which I means I was planning a wedding for the following year. 😒
Now it makes sense why I always have more energy when I put on my 90s playlist and dance around doing the house chores ... will be searching the internet for cargo pants, vest tops and to find out who still stocks Hooch, so I can go all in next weekend!
You know Amy Schumer? Lol! Thanks for the update. As a subscriber to both of your publications, I know the plan now. I also write two publications and sometimes it is a little tough writing two articles the same week so I was thinking of alternating between them at some point.
I think your idea is very clever so that you can immerse yourself in one topic or the other for longer period of time.
I love that study that you referenced. I've heard it before and it's just amazing. I don't think I'd go back 20 years I'd go back to the '80s where I'm from. By 2004, I was in my mid 30s.

Hee hee!!! I can only imagine! 😂 😂
Welcome back. Turning back time works but then I get my blood test results. 😉
Thanks CK!
I'm not sure 'thinking young' would help your blood tests, but it might be fun to find out. 🤓
Great idea! And your 2nd image has a secret mini you in the background! Xx
Not sure where she came from! It certainly wasn’t in the brief but Gencraft does like to ‘over deliver’! 😂

Sounds like the perfect plan! 👏
I love this, I've been feeling old lately so I'm going to try it! 😁
That's the spirit! 👏
Love this idea of a psychological retreat!!
Adjusting your substack plan and schedule is so 2025! Go for it, girl!
A psychological retreat! Well named! 👏👏👏

An 80s retreat! That would be fab, although I’d need big luggage for all that make-up and hairspray! 🙌👏
