Had you heard of Beast Games? - Heard of it and saw trailers for the show, but that's not my kind of TV, so I'd never watch it. I know that @Michael Evans over at Author Sidekick worked with him recently.
If so, do you have teenage children? - I do not have children. Thank the Lordt
Would you like to own your own private island? - I would LURVE to own an island.
I binged this almost compulsively—both loving it and cringing in equal measure!
After watching Beast Games, I checked out his Diary of a CEO interview with Steven Bartlett. I’d only vaguely heard of MrBeast before (thanks to the kids mentioning him), but wow, what an insanely driven guy. (That said, if I were his mum, I’d be telling him to slow down and take a break! )
The show itself was fascinating from a psychological perspective, though undeniably irritating at times. Still, I have a lot of respect for MrBeast. What he’s achieved at such a young age is pretty extraordinary.
(I'm glad I wasn't the only one pondering the tax implications 🤣)
Hee hee, I'm glad we weren't the only ones glued to it! 👏
I think they overplayed the 'sacrifice' card in the games, which got rather tedious, but other than that, some fiendish gameplay which we thoroughly enjoyed watching! 🤓
It is crazy how Mr Beast sucks you into his videos. Typically I start watching over the shoulder of one of the kids, and then have to go watch myself. Glad you watched this, maybe I can just skip it and spare myself the wasted time. Or not.
Yes, that’s exactly what happened to some friends of mine… they started watching it with the kids… the kids lost interest but they were glued to it! 😂😂😂
Necker island gives me “blink twice” energy
And that’s just the price! 😉
he is amazing always and makes great content
I must admit I’m not familiar with his You Tube output, I think the kids put us onto this tv series… I knew they’d be useful eventually. 😉

Honestly, I didn’t expect to be drawn into this show. What an interesting sociology experiment on human greed.

Thanks Kate.

The first time I heard about Mr Beast was due to his philanthropy— giving vision back to the blind. Now I know HOW he was able to afford this.
That’s amazing that the strap line ‘No.1 YouTuber Ever’ doesn’t follow him around everywhere! 👏👏
