On Year 2 of my Gap Year (!) and you have articulated beautifully the existential fear sparked by spending your savings .. more power to you for naming it, now go forth and conquer x
Sounds fascinating, can’t wait to read more! And I also want to hear about your past ventures, and what you learned… I totally understand the desire to want to do some thing. I feel like I’m in that same spot…
I’m still definitely keeping the student coaching… It’s not a full-time thing though. I don’t have bandwidth to do more, I think I realize I just want more novelty in my life. I’m definitely in a routine. 😅
Gosh, we really were on the same wave length!! I can relate to all of this. I also want to experiment with collaborating with my paid members to co-create something special. The inner circle. ☺️
I sometimes try and imagine being old and retired (I think I’ll have to be very old to be retired) and no longer being able to have dreams and plans of what next for my working life. And I hate that thought. So I don’t think I’d be able to be still for a year either. It must be our strong work ethic which started with our paper rounds!
What’s your biggest dream? I'm actually releasing a TST post later this evening about this.
Do you love a good nosey at the behind the scenes of a business? I do! Which is why I subscribe to Chenell's "Growth in Reverse" newsletter. Each week, she reverse engineers how a top creator grew from 0 to 50K+ subscribers. But based on a recent email she sent out I think these dives are going to include creators with under 50K subscribers. Should be interesting.
Are you looking forward to Season 3 of The Bear? I've never watched this show, but I do remember the actor when he played on "Shameless." Have you ever seen it? It was aptly named, too, because a lot the shit they were doing on that show, espesh William H. Macy, was indeed shameless. That was a great, show, though.
Not to mention my blood pressure is lower and I’m sleeping really well, so I’ve probably added another 10 years to my life with no stress! 😂😂😘
‘MILC: “Would this be a good time to tell you that my imaginary rates are increasing as of next month?”’ 😂😂 I love this!!
Thank you! 😘
Thank you so much for reading my book xx
Thank you for writing it! 👏👏😘

Ooh interesting, are you thinking of moving away from student coaching? That must be filled with very stressful parents. 😉
I find when drawing on past experience, a list of what you ‘don’t want’ forms a lot faster than what you do.
But I think I have a couple of fun ideas that will tick my new criteria. I’m looking forward to your feedback. 👍😘

Change is always good, it either makes you want more of it, or appreciate what you had more. So it’s a win win. 😘
Absolutely! Can’t wait to hear about your new adventures
Great article! Dream away, I can't wait to read more about the ideas bubbling away!
Thanks for sharing your journey and your dream
This REALLY makes me want to take a gap year of my own x
It's amazing having the time to 'design your life', I'd recommend it! 😘

Fun!
Yes, there’s plenty of opportunity and your Find My Tribe is a great start! 👏👏😘
Yes to season 3 of “The Bear”
I wrote about seasons 1 and 2. I’m ready for 3. “Sugar” will be long behind me at that point
I didn’t have my SubStack for Seasons 1 & 2, but I would have gone crazy for ‘the 7 fishes’ episode, what a masterpiece! 👏👏😘

It really did!
I can’t imagine how I got up so early six days a week for a mere £1/day… or maybe that’s why I hate getting up still. 😳
I feel the same!
I’m so excited for you. Can’t wait to learn more. Honored to be mentioned!
It’s an exciting time! I love a blank sheet of paper! 🎉

Will check out your post and take a look at Chenell’s Stack, they sound great, thanks!
I’ve not seen Shameless, but it sounds like it has a stellar cast. 👏😘
How timely that this pops up for me to read! It’s very much where my head is atm too. Trying to figure a few things out about my future.
Also … I have ‘life is a journey not a destination’ in my Best Before End Date email footer. Great minds 😊
I think not rushing into anything is the key, just gently working things out is suiting me right now. 😊😘
Ok now i totally want to know what happens next.
So do I! 😳
LOVE every bit of this post. And have I already asked you to do my money interview? Because this is right up my alley.
Thanks so much for the lovely feedback Keris! 😘
You've not asked me to do your interview before, but I'd love to discuss it more.
Send me an email or DM, I'll look out for it. 👍
